31 May 2001 -- Singaporean Leslie Kee will be takeing the photos for Faye's next album next month. FROM The Straits Times today: Left 1993 for Japan to study the language and culture. In 1998 he started free-lancing for Vogue Magazine Taiwan. He'll be working with Zing on Faye's album. Katie Chan contacted him about a year ago but the deal was closed only last month. Leslise Kee says he has always ben a big fan of Faye's music, and he says photographing her is pressurising since she has always been photographed by veteran Taiwanese photographer Cheung Man Wah. 21 May 2001 -- All of you know Anthony Wong is going to compose a song for Faye in her new album. He will supervise the making of that song too. And that's next week. That means Faye will start recording her new album next week :) Anthony said he has composed a number of songs for Faye, but Faye finally chosed a song composed by a member of "Ren Shan Ren Hai". 16 May 2001 -- Sina daily news has an article titled "Faye almost lost her life under water" from the making of the "Xiang Nai Er" MTV. The MTV was beautifully done. They spend a lot of time with it. This MTV was done by a director from China. After it was done, even directors from Taiwan say it was very well done. There were a lot of innovation and experience with many new techniques for this MTV. The Taiwanese director said The under water scene were really nice. I think he must have spent a lot of time in this MTV. Faye's expression was very much alive."
After seeing the MTV, the writer were impressed how Faye did all the hard work for the under water scene. Although Faye had to hold her breath under water, she still showing her acting confidence and beautiful expression. It seems like she were not in pain at all. 16 May 2001 -- This is off topic ... There is a new CD out with Teresa Teng with new songs on. Aparently her brother discovered the songs and had the cd released. 15 May 2001 -- There's a varity show for promoting the Jiu Yun Hui (Jiu Yun Happy Festival) on September 15. It will be held at the newly opened Olympic Center in Guangdong. There will be a lot of superstars in the show, including Faye, Na Ying, Sandy Lam, Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Lau Huan etc. Also Jackie Chan may come if time allows. 10 May 2001 -- Faye is planing some more concerts in mainland China this year. Aftre finishing the in Japan with Fuji TV she will hold a concert in Shanghai in August, this is confirmed. 1 May 2001 -- News on Japanese drama. Nakai Kiichi (the male leading role) is a landscape photographer, he has a marriage contract with Yukie Nakama, who is the daughter of an entrepreneur. But before their merriage, he met a Chinese lady (and that's Faye of course). Then they will start a love affair. The title will something like "Lie Love" we know that it's a love story begins wil a lie! It is a romantic, love comdey. The drama will be shown starting from July 3, every Tuesday, 10 - 11.
In the story, faye is a fashion designer from mainland China. Her name is Lam Faye (translation only). Her dream is to get into the world designer market. She wants to enigrate to Japan, therefore, she gets "marry" with a guy she has never met before. Of course that's not a real marriage and that guy is Nakai Kiichi, the male leading role. But Nakai doesn't know that until he goes to apply to get marry with Yukie Nakama. Then he finally realized that he has get married with Faye. Therefore, he immediately goes to find Faye and askes her to divorce.
Since Faye has not get the Japan passport yet, she refused and used a lot of methods to prevent the divorce. She used Japanese to say "You, me, will love one and other. Begins with lie, We fall in love, can't that happened?" Therfore, Nakai is forced to live together with Yukie without getting married. Menawhile, he goes to find Faye every day and persuade her to divorce. But, when time goes, Nakai becomes want to see Faye every day. There are a lot of jokes in the story. Also, there is a handsome actor, Nakamura Syummsuke
