27 Aug 2002 -- Over at the forum of Fayevolution21 somebody posted download links to some of Faye's videos. They are pretty big so if you have problems to get them, use a download accelerator like GetRight that can resume broken downloads.

    19 Aug 2002 -- Currently The Cranberries are in Hong Kong. Their lead vocal, Dolores, praised Faye for singing their song, Dream. She said althought she didn't meet Faye before she's glad she could have the chance to listen to Faye's song and she thinks that Faye is a great singer. She also don't think both their vocal is similar. Another member of Cranberries also said that Faye does perform the song in her own style because of their different cultures. He also said that it's a great thing to know that someone sings their songs. Click here to view a photo of Cranberries.

    19 Aug 2002 -- There are several pieces of news flooting around in the Chinese media these days, here are a short take of the important once:

  • Faye has been asked not only to sing the themes of 2 movies, but have been invited to play the MAJOR actress roles in them. These films are dramas and Faye and her management team are reviewing the script for consideration.
  • Faye will continue shooting "2046" in September in Shanghai
  • New record company will be announced next month
  • New album will be finnish soon. One source says it will be released in October, another the end of the year. The reason for the delay is the due to her relationship problems last March when she didn't/couldn't work normally.
  • Faye is signing 2 international companies for advertisement. One is for a beverage (not Coke/Pepsi) and the other is for branded clothes.

    13 Aug 2002 -- According to reports in HK media, Katie - Faye's manager - has said that there'll be an anouncement of which record label Faye will sign in September. I guess the good news is that Faye finally has found a new record company, the bad news is that we have to wait a few more weeks for the new album.

    11 Aug 2002 -- Cinepoly has released a new compilation CD which has a brand new cantonese song by Faye, its called "Scary" (膽戰心驚）. Lyrics is by Lin Xi and music and arrangement by Zhang Ya Dong. It's an old song from the Cinepoly years but it was never released before, recorded about 5 years ago. I hope to be able to come back later with more details and a link where to buy it.
