26th Sep 1999 -- Faye was shooting "2046" in Thailand when she heard about the earthquake. She donated around HK$30,0000 and then flew there to help out with the charity and fundraising events. She attended over 8 fundraising events in one day. She attended all the events with solemnity and still answered all questions with short answers. But it was evident that Faye meant everything she said to the reporters when she told everyone to donate all they can, and that she was willing to do whatever she can to help.

23rd Sep 1999 -- Due to the earthquake in Taiwan few days ago, The Sun (Hong Kong) reported that Faye will cancel the signing session as planned on Sept 26 as well as other promotional activities, but she's still going to Taiwan for attending the fund-raising shows. 19th Sep 1999 -- The Great News reported thaat although she's still shooting the Wong Ka-wai movie "2046" in Thailand, Faye will go to Taiwan for promotion on September 26-30. She's going to have the first-ever signing session in Taiwan on Sept 26, which is hosted by Channel [V]! 19th Sep 1999 -- Faye's new album is indeed full of new surprises; from music to image. Especially the first song in tthe album ¶} ¨ì ²þ ÷ó (Flower Of Final Splendor) where the sound engineers have distort Faye's voice a little to add in some mystifying and nostalgic effects. The meaning of this song has also puzzled many for quite some time and according to EMI, ²þ ÷ó is referring to plants that grow against the walls in their early stage of growth and its flowers does not bloom very early too. The full tittle means that love has reached its end.

17th Sep 1999 -- Sandy Lam and Faye Wong collaboration a possibility - In addition to Sandy Lam, EMI has alreaddy signed other "Sky Queen" singers, including Faye Wong and Na Ying.
