Faye speak some english in this movie as I have said the ex-bf can't speak chinese.. he only speak english in the movie.. so of course Faye must speak english with bf! Faye's acting is not bad.. the problem is not Faye of course.. not our problem the story is not good right. Faye tried her best and there are cute scenes. Then at the end of the movie have Faye's NEW song. One Fayenatic said the song is cool.. it's weird, alternative and very summer like.. Can you imagine? So be prepared to hear a BRAND NEW style in Faye's next album.
So many people disappointed.. actually to me I won't feel disappointed. When I watch a Faye movie.. I don't care about the plot.. I don't care if it's a good movie or a horrible movie.. I just watch how Faye act and her cute actions.. I mean the 3 movies Faye acted in.. you think it's good movie? Beyond dairy is not a good movie but I enjoy watching Faye in it.. CKE is actually very boring movie if I don't like Faye.. but I enjoy watching Faye's actions in CKE.. as for Okinawa rendezvous.. i'm sure I will enjoy it eventhough the story sucks.. cause Faye will be very cute in the movie.
The movie suck is not Faye's fault.. it's the director.. but if Faye's new album suck then it's Faye's fault.. just hope Faye's new album will be good la.. I'm sure it will be good cause music is very important to Faye as acting is just for fun!

9 Jul 2000 -- The love story between Faye and Nic have now reached Sweden as well. It's the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet who is reporting the story. However, they got some things wrong ... You can read the article here, if you can handle Swedish :) Here is a translation of the story.
A "Soft"-story is taking place in New York right now. Two of the biggest Japanese movie stars, Faye Wong and Nicholas Tse, felt in love but couldn't show it in public since Faye is sponsored by Pepsi and Nicholas by Coca-Cola. When a photographer waited for Nicholas when he left Faye one night the movie star went furious and throw a Pepsi (!) can after him. A death sin of cause.

8 Jul 2000 -- Faye's movie "Okinawa Rendez-vous" (former "Love affair in Okinawa") will be out around mid July. Faye is a wife of a big boss in the movie. Faye is basically in big trouble!  Source: Didar-natic
Today's news link:
7 Jul 2000 -- According to Show 8, the movie "Love affair in Okinawa" will screen in Hong Kong after Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng movie - "Needing You". (Wonder when will Singapore will show it???) The reporters have asked the director to reveal how much is Leslie, Tony and Faye paid for for the movie but the director decline and just said that their pay adds up to half of the whole movie-making fees which is HKD 2,500 million!
Faye also approached the director before the shooting of the film as she lacks the self confidence in acting. However, Chan Ka-Shung only demand Faye to be her natural self as that is the character of Doris (The role Faye's playing). Most of the scenes from the movie are shot in Okinawa and they even rent an airplane for filming purpose.

2 Jul 2000 -- Anita Wong has written this report from the Sydney concert.
It was WOW WOW WOW!!! What an experience!!! The Sydney concert is my second time to see Faye live in performance, and I have to say that FAYE took my breath away when she first appeared on the stage. She was just soooooo beautiful!!! Her first costume looked really classy and it made her look even more taller. She had 4 different outfits (probably the same ones as in Melbourne).
Anyway, Faye sang about 30 or so songs. Some of them had slightly different instrumentation. I found the songs Cold War, Doomsday, Undercurrent, Awaken and You're Happy so I'm Happy were really really well-done!! As usual, during the song You're Happy so I'm Happy, clips of Faye and Tong Tong were shown on the screen. Tong Tong was very very cute, and her little acts caused many laughs. ^__^
When Faye was singing the second Teresa Tang song, my friends and I thought Faye sang that song with such sophistication. Faye was moving right along with the beat and the music. She even gave her eyebrow a little flicker, I thought that really brought out her playfulness.
My friends and I were sitting near the side of the stage, so we could see many interesting people coming in and out of the side curtain. Before the concert started, we saw Katie standing at one of the entrances, so we quickly rushed over to say hi. Katie said hi to us all, but I could see that she looked a little surprised.
After we were taken to our seats, we had an even bigger pleasant surprise!! We spotted Tong Tong being carried out, so we started waving and calling out to her. Tong Tong turned to look at us, she was just soooooo cute!! ^__^ A few of her nannies (I think) took Tong Tong and this other young girl towards the back of the entertainment centre. We watched her being taken to somewhere near the middle of the seating area, where they sat for a part of the concert. My friends and I were a bit worried about Tong Tong, because she sat on the most outer seat of the row...must keep Tong Tong safe ma, there are so many people walking up and down the stairs. When the concert started, we kept seeing Zing walking back and forth in front of us, with his arms crossed. That guy has attitude man!
Anyway, back to Faye.. when Faye was started singing Dream Person, Tong Tong was taken to the front of the stage, where she gave Faye a little yellow toy. Faye took the toy and looked really happy. I have never seen Faye look so happy and pleased, she had a motherly expression on her face. Maybe because of this, Faye was really playful during the next song Sleepwalk. Not only did she dance on the spot, she threw up the toy and caught it again... nearly missing the entry of the song because of this. Faye is just sooo cute man!!!
When Faye was talking to the audience, she kept asking "Dim ar?? Is it OK? (How is it?) Are you happy" The crowd went crazy and most shouted "OK!!!" There were many screams and yelling.. we can see how enthusiastic the crowd and Fayenatics are about Faye!! ^_^
Faye sang 2 songs: Overthrown and Awaken in the unplugged version. During the beginning of the first song, someone in the audience yelled out "Tse Ting Fung (Nicholas)!!" ....this also caused many laughs.
After Faye sang the last song and left the stage, my friends and I rushed out of the entertainment centre, and ran towards the back stage exit, hoping to catch a glimpse of Faye and Tong Tong leaving. We waited for about half an hour, but there was still no sign of Faye...only some crew members, helpers and Zhang Ya Dong left in the 2 vans.
We hadn't given up yet...our next destination was the Starcity Hotel and the chinese restaurant. We began to walk from the entertainment centre towards our estimated direction of Starcity casino. But this proved to be a little 'difficult' since we didn't know our way around Sydney. My friends and I finally arrived at Starcity after about 45 minutes of walking everywhere. It was around 11:45pm, and we thought that Faye and the other people would have eaten and left. >_< Still, we went inside and found our way to the only chinese restaurant in Starcity.
We stood outside of the restaurant, and began looking inside for Faye, just our luck... we saw one of her helpers coming out of the restaurant. Thinking that Faye was inside eating, we decided to sit outside and wait for them to finish. About 10 minutes later, 2 of my friends spotted Tong Tong, her nanny and some other people walking around the corner, towards the restaurant. We were really surprised by this, so we stood up to have a look... and then we were even more surprised to see Faye walking right next to Tong Tong!!! Faye still had her makeup on from the concert. She was wearing jeans and a pale coloured sweater. My friends and I were speechless!!! We just stared and kept on smiling at Faye as she walked past. Then Faye saw us, and she sort of slowed down to give us a smile... but we were just too shocked to do anything else. Faye was just too beautiful to be true. After she saw we didn't move, Faye kept on walking inside the restaurant. Only after she went inside did our brains finally click: Faye was just 2 metres away from us, and we didn't do anything. I had my Faye pics ready in my bag, but I didn't even think to take it out to get an autograph from Faye.
We sat back down on the seats outside, hating ourselves for being so unprepared. But at this moment, Katie came out of restaurant to go to the restroom. So my friend seized this chance and went to ask her if she could help us get Faye's autograph... and Katie agreed!!! ^____^ She told us to wait until she comes back later. So we started to search for things for Faye to sign... I had my Sing and Play card-photo, the Pepsi calendar and the Faye concert ticket. My other friend used his Nokia phone with Faye on the screen. We gave these things and my marker pen to Katie when she came back, and waited excitedly. Katie came back out a minute later with our signed things, she was very very nice. She said to my friend that the phone had a grey cover, so the signature is not very noticeable. We said many thanks, and then she replied, "That's OK, it's getting late, you guys had better go and rest now." We said thanks again and sat back down to admire our autographed things. Since my one of my friends didn't have anything for Faye to sign, I gave him my autographed concert ticket. Man!! Katie is sooo nice!! And Faye even kept my marker pen, hahaha.... I was so happy. ^___^
I give this fantastic concert 100% (nah, 200%)... I loved it so much, and I couldn't sleep at all that night!
