They are: Best Female Singer (along with NaYing, A-Mei, Karen Mok & YanZi Suen), Best Album, Best Producer, Best Lyrics (Lin Xin for "Love Letter To Myself") and Best Arrangements (Chang YangDong for "Chanel"). 28 Mar 2001 -- ThomasDeejay did a remix of "Love Letter To Myself" with some music arrangements added into the mix and some more speed, from 82 BPM to 121 BPM. 20 Mar 2001 -- Yesterday John Phillips, band leader of "The Mamas And The Papas" died, 65 years old. John was one of the founders of the Flower Power movement and wrote "California Dreamin'" that was featured in "Chungking Express". John also wrote "San Francisco" together with Scott MacKenzie, also a big hit. He also arrange the first modern pop festival, the "Monterey Pop Festival" in 1967. At this festival Jimi Hendrix and The Who was introduced to an American audience, Otis Redding sang for the first time before a white audience and Janis Joplin and Canned Heat had their first big hits in Monterey. After many years of drug and alcohol abuse John got a new liver and he just finished off two solo albums, one of those he started to work on already in the 70's. However, all the abuse was to much in the end and he died from a heart attack. This picture from 1998 is John together with his forth wife, Farnaz.

16 Mar 2001 -- Faye is reported to have started writing songs for a new album. The reports said she is not so happy with Fable and wants to make something new. If the time schedule is the same as for Fable we can expect an album in 3-4 months time, middle of the summer.

14 Mar 2001 -- I have the scans from Ilook now, thaks to aFaye.com. You can view them by clicking here. Some Fayenatics I talked to said those pics are the best ever of Faye, but I don't quite agree. Still, they are very good :) If you recognice pic #9 you have a good memory, it was first published in South China Magazine in January.
