9 Oct 2001 -- Some news from the maillist. EMI Taiwan have prepared some promo activities for Faye's upcoming album release on the Oct 18. The Taiwan version will not have the additional Cantonese EP so they'll give a free "The Queen's Red Dancing Shoes" single and a free poster when you make an order. There will also be a mini concert for the new album on Oct 24. MTV Chinese will show her "Fleeting time" MTV starting on the Oct 11.

6 Oct 2001 -- Faye Wong has made it into "Guinness World Records 2002" as "Best selling Canto-pop female". This is what the book says:
Faye Wong (Hong Kong) sold an estimated 9.7 million copies of her 20 albums by March 2000 and is one of the first women to dominate Hong Kong's recording industry. Her album "Only Love Strangers", released in September 1999, has sold over 800,000 copies so far and reached No. 1 in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Her first CD "Wong Ching Man" (her then stage name) was released in 1989 and two more the next 12 months. She has gone on to record over 15 more albums.
5 Oct 2001 -- Another recording from Steve. This one it's from TVB and Faye talked about recording Colourblind. She said it's easy to sing this song and the most difficult part is the chorus since there are lot of words and it needs to be sung quickly and clearly. She said when recording songs, she likes to wear sun glasses and turn off the light to make her concentrate. She said this time she had some difficulties when recording the songs. 5 Oct 2001 -- From WKW World Wide Website: "As for Wong's 2046, Wong hopes to resume filming shortly on location in South Korea. Reportedly, negotiations on scheduling between Wong and Japanese celebrity Takuya Kimura's camp are almost complete. Moreover, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai has indicated that he is willing to commute in between the Mainland set of the Zhang Yimou film "Hero" and 2046's South Korean set. Due to concert commitments, Faye Wong will not be available until the end of the year. Plans are being made to shoot around Faye Wong's schedule." Source: LaJaBor
